1. Services Provided

Matthew Mows provides lawn mowing, hedge trimming, garden maintenance, and other related landscaping services as agreed with the client.
The exact scope of work will be outlined in a written estimate or invoice prior to the commencement of services.

2. Estimates and Pricing
​
All estimates are provided free of charge and remain valid for 14 days from the date of issue.
Prices are based on the information supplied by the client at the time of the estimate.
Any additional work or variations not included in the original estimate will be subject to an additional charge, agreed upon with the client before such work is carried out.

3. Payment Terms
​
Full payment of invoices is due within 7 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payment may be made via bank transfer (details provided on the invoice).
In accordance with Matthew Mows’ Late Payment Policy, overdue invoices will incur interest and administrative charges as follows:
10% late payment fee if unpaid after 2 weeks from the invoice date;
20% late payment fee if unpaid after 1 month from the invoice date;
50% late payment fee if unpaid after 2 months from the invoice date.
Continued non-payment may result in suspension of services and/or referral to a debt recovery agency, with associated costs added to the client’s balance.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
​
Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a booked service.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a 50% cancellation fee of the booked service value.
Matthew Mows reserves the right to postpone or reschedule services due to adverse weather conditions, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

5. Access to Property
​
Clients are responsible for ensuring safe and unobstructed access to the property at the agreed service time.
Delays or additional time incurred due to restricted access may result in additional charges.

6. Health and Safety
​
All work will be carried out with reasonable care and in accordance with standard health and safety practices.
Clients must ensure that pets, children, and obstacles are kept clear of work areas during service delivery.

7. Liability
​
Matthew Mows is fully insured for public liability.
We shall not be liable for any damage to underground cables, pipes, or hidden services unless their locations have been clearly marked and communicated in advance.
We are not liable for damage or delays caused by adverse weather conditions, pre-existing defects, or natural wear and tear within the client’s garden or property.

8. Complaints
​
Any complaints or concerns regarding services provided must be submitted within 7 days of the work being carried out.
Matthew Mows will make every reasonable effort to address and resolve such matters promptly and fairly.

9. Termination of Services
​
Either party may terminate ongoing or recurring services by providing 7 days’ written notice.
All outstanding payments for completed or in-progress work remain immediately payable in full.

10. Governing Law
​
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the services provided shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
